The client is a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of carpet, resilient flooring, hardwood, laminate, and other specialty goods for residential and commercial consumers. They also have a B2B section that serves the needs of commercial and multi-tenant residential development, offering flooring for everything from offices to stadiums.

The organization has been using a custom designed application to assist the processing of design and visualization requests from their commercial sales team. These requests, and their accurate completion, are critical components of the B2B sales process.

In the custom system, however, the request would come from a Salesforce Opportunity, but the processing would be done in a separate application, resulting in disjointed data and increased user and access management complexity.

Korcomptenz worked with the client to find a native Salesforce solution for design and visualization demands.

We were able to support all the functionality of the custom system directly in the Salesforce architecture by leveraging Salesforce’s strong Lightning App and workflow features.
