The Client handles packaging, Material Handling, Transportation and warehouses. Their main objective is to deliver quality finished goods by addressing different Quality Control measures and checks.
The Client found quality checking a real challenge and it was not available in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. They wanted to address the process of Quality Management during the procurement and production process.
The client required an in-built Quality Module inside NAV to avoid dependency on third–party integration
The Quality Control module addresses Quality check for specific or all items during the inbound process (Procurement and Production).
The system will recommend the total number of quantities of items that were accepted, accepted under deviation, or rejected, or to be returned. Once posted, those items will be automatically moved to the respective locations.
Once the material is received for quality checkup, an inspection datasheet will be automatically created, and the system will allow us to give the actual values against the inspection specifications
Our Quality Control module also has the provision for approval mechanism and to create an automatic purchase return order for the items that need to be returned to the vendor
We developed a user-friendly Quality Management within NAV.
The client was able to automatically generate the inspection sheet instead of writing it manually. The Quality Control module helped the client in moving the items to their respective accepted or rejected locations automatically based on the Quality check parameters. It also enabled ease of handling and seamless operations.
