About the Company
KORCOMPTENZ partnered with the largest non-profit provider of homeless shelters and support services for the homeless. Besides providing a home, their support services included educational programs for the homeless children as well as programs for adults which focuses on helping them develop skills such as job readiness and financial literacy.
Business Challenges
- The client was using legacy software and network architecture with low uptime and no collaboration tools
- They were on Microsoft Exchange 2013 which added several restrictions and called for additional requirements to their operations increasing the amount of time required to meet customer requests.
- There was a lack of a formal security, patching, anti-virus, and other important security policies leaving their system unsecure
- The client did not keep a formal auditable history of incidents involving residents of the homeless shelters leaving them vulnerable to possible legal exposure
