About our Customer

The customer is a large American fashion house who have been in business for over 30 years and is worth around $500M. They are almost a fully e-commerce brand with two stores in New York and Virginia. They have offices in California and China with headquarters in New York. They use varied applications and systems that are niche to the fashion industry.

Key Challenges

The company had an IT team of only 9 people to take care of all their infrastructure. There was no ticketing system set up to report problems and there was no proactive maintenance of server and device patching. They had a limited knowledge of best practices of the Infrastructure Management which led to numerous problems with cybersecurity and downtime.

Korcomptenz at first was only acting as a reseller for the customer’s hardware and software needs, but after the start of the COVID pandemic, we also became their Managed Service Provider (MSP) for their infrastructure needs.
