The client’s dynamic team of talented recruitment specialists has a combined experience surpassing 100 years across every aspect of staffing.

The client embarked on a digital transformation journey by partnering with Korcomptenz for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central implementation. Following broad functionalities were covered in this transformation project:

  • Finance – General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Human Resources Management
  • Time Entry

The scope of the project was to deploy the application, configure the required processes, and train the users to smoothly transition the company operations into the new platform.

Business Challenges

  • The customer had challenges in maintaining Jobs module with Serenic add-on on their previous ERP system. Profitability reports for customers and contractors were a cumbersome manual process and were not being done systematically.
  • Time journal and posting was a heavily customized functionality in the previous ERP system. It was not very user friendly and was difficult to maintain.

Solutions

  • Korcomptenz, provided a simplified solution that had jobs module functionality integrated within Dynamics 365 Business Central system, by creating all the jobs as a dimension and leveraged the product capabilities for Dynamics 365 Business Central to generate the profitability reports for the client.
  • We leveraged the intuitive features of D365 Business Central to simplify the number of customizations, removed many steps of the process that were redundant. The Time Entry was customized to register the time for each Employee/Contractors that they have worked for.
