The Challenges
Our client was using Sage as their ERP system, and faced significant challenges with project accounting, particularly in detailed cost estimation and profit and loss analysis for large-scale projects. Sage’s limitations in project costing and tracking of material and labor costs led to inefficiencies and a lack of visibility. The system’s manual and Excel-based processes failed to provide accurate data on inventory and labor consumption. To address these issues and streamline procurement and HR processes, the client chose to transition to Microsoft Dynamics, seeking a more robust, enterprise-level solution.
The Solutions

- Implemented Dynamics 365 F&O’s Project, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain modules, enabling accurate cost estimations and tracking for materials and labor. This integration provides precise profit and loss calculations for each project.
- The ERP migration from Sage to Dynamics 365 F&O was completed within six months, with the new system going live in 2023. This efficient implementation has streamlined operations and enhanced project management capabilities.
- Integrated the client’s invoicing process with ZATCA, Saudi Arabia’s newly introduced e-invoicing system. This crucial integration ensures compliance with local regulations and smooths the invoicing process, addressing a significant challenge for many businesses in the region.
